Re: Platform Builder: Using Bib Files to add files to a Windows CE OS Image I've started looking into WinCE 6.0 about a week ago. I am using CoreCon with my eBox 4300 to establish connection and debugging. ![]() I need to somehow include the CoreCon files in the runtime image. Normally I have to manually copy them over into the WINDOWS folder on my device. Do I use a.bib file for this? Where do I have to put the required files so that they can be included in the runtime image? Somewhere in C: WINCE600? This may be a stupid question, but where does _FLATRELEASEDIR point to exactly?? Re: Platform Builder: Using Bib Files to add files to a Windows CE OS Image Oliver: This would be a good post for the Platform Builder newsgroup: I don't want to turn this blog into a replacement for the newsgroups. You might also want to review more of my posts, especially the ones on Building Windows CE. You can use that link (Go to Summary of Building Windows CE) at the bottom of the post to see a summary of all of the posts that I have about building Windows CE. Might be especially interesting to you. Re: Platform Builder: Using Bib Files to add files to a Windows CE OS Image Thank you for an informative post on MODULES and FILES. The issue I am running into now (also posted on MSDN Forums with no replies thus far), is that my target board's DRAM memory size about 64BM is getting filled up real quick as I try to debug a faily huge C/C++ app. The EXE itself measures about 20MB in size + some DLLs and etc - end up sucking lot of DRAM. So, when I try to debug the app, I can only go down so much before I experience memory issues. Master cooking boy episode 53 sub indo. Download Cooking Master Boy Episode 53 Sub Indo Film. There is no way, I can put the EXEs and DLLs into FILES section, for when they are referenced, they will definitely have to go through a decompress stage. The onlyoption in my mind I seem to have is to debug the EXE off the ATA Hard-Disk I have attached to my target which holds some butmaps referenced by the EXE. So, I like to know (1) Is this possible? (2) if yes, how do I go about this? - What I am going to do after typing this is to send the EXE and DLLs onto my HDD, then power-up target, bring up the HDD, have PB try to load my EXE from the HDD connect to the target, and see if I can debug from there!!! Re: Platform Builder: Using Bib Files to add files to a Windows CE OS Image DRAM: As I noted already, I don't want to turn this blog into a replacement for the newsgroups. But I will give you some advice: I see that you did post your Platform Builder question to the Apps Development newsgroup. Your question is more likely to be answered in the Platbuilder newsgroup where Platform Builder users tend to answer the questions. Next, when you ask a question it is important to assume that we don't know anything about you, your platform or what you are trying to do and how you are trying to do it.
